Sima Dahl is a marketing consultant, sales trainer and keynote speaker. Her company Parlay Communications, Ltd. works with companies and business professionals to raise their visibility, generate sales leads and close business through digital marketing and social media. Sima is well-known for her simply yet effective Sway Factor™ system for social networking success and has delivered more than 100 sales training, keynote presentations and workshops nationwide. Sima writes about personal branding and social networking MarketingPower.com, Marketing News Magazine and Social Media Marketing Magazine. She earned a BA in Communications from the University of Illinois at Champaign and an MBA with honors from DePaul University in Chicago.

Sima Dahl is a marketing consultant, social media strategist and personal branding expert. She is a veteran corporate marketer with more than 20 years of experience developing marketing and communications strategies for companies both small and large.
Sima is currently the President of Parlay Communications, a boutique consulting firm she founded to help both businesses–and business professionals–develop a brand, raise their visibility and drive sales – a process Sima calls Moving from Message to Mindshare™.
Prior to founding Parlay, Sima worked for global software giant Business Objects / SAP. She previously held senior marketing management positions at high tech companies Intentia Americas, Expand Beyond, Proxicom and Neoglyphics Media Corp.
Sima is the co-author of the book “Make Your Connections Count” due out in April 2011 and her book on her Sway Factor™ system for social networking is due out later this year. Through her keynote speaking, individual coaching, workshops and corporate clients including Jones Lang LaSalle, Mesirow Financial, ADP and Assurance Agency Sima has helped thousands learn to leverage sites like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to create a strong personal brand, encourage referrals and general more business.
Sima is on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Marketing Association; co-chairs the social media committee for the Chicago Business Marketing Association; serves on the Membership Board for The Metropolitan Club; and volunteers her with the Medical Research Institute Council and St. Pauls United Church of Christ. She is the founder of Marketing Job Wire, a peer-powered community website where marketing, communications and public relations professionals share job leads with each other. Sima also leads monthly High Speed Networking events in downtown Chicago. In addition to her blogs on Parlay Communications and Marketing Job Wire, she contributes regular columns to Marketing News Magazine, Social Media Marketing Magazine and MarketingPower.com.
Sima earned a BA in Communications from the University of Illinois at Champaign and an MBA with honors from DePaul University in Chicago. She lives with her family in Chicago and enjoys cycling, skiing, listening to live music, dining out and traveling.
